Ice Interactive (“Ice Card”, “we”, “us”) operates the gift card exchange service at icecard.app (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to quote, verify and complete gift card transactions:
- Information you give us: gift card details you submit for a quote or sale (brand, country, denomination, card number and PIN or redemption code); what you send us in live chat (such as your name, phone number, messaging username or email); and the payout details needed to send your payment (payout method and account number, mobile number or wallet address).
- Information collected automatically: technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, processed through our security and content delivery provider; chat and order records; and the quotes you generate, which are stored locally in your own browser.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide quotes and verify gift card balances and validity;
- To complete sales and send payouts;
- To answer support messages and prevent fraud and abuse;
- To maintain, secure and improve the Service;
- To meet our legal obligations.
3. Gift Card Details
We ask for card numbers and PINs only to verify and complete the transaction you requested. These details are used solely for that purpose and are deleted or anonymized promptly after the transaction is completed, or if a sale does not go ahead.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, including our live chat provider (Tawk.to), our security and content delivery provider (Cloudflare) and our website hosting provider; with payout providers as needed to send your payment; and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
5. How Long We Keep Information
Chat and transaction records are kept for up to 12 months after your interaction and are then deleted or anonymized. Gift card numbers and PINs are deleted or anonymized as soon as they are no longer needed for verification and payout. Quotes stored in your browser remain on your own device and can be cleared at any time.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to run the calculator, remember your recent quotes and keep the chat widget working. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser settings.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us. To do so, use the Live Chat, WhatsApp or Telegram buttons at the bottom of any page.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
